This policy describes how Casa App (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use our websites, Spaces (browser spaces), accounts, QR and related features, and optional notifications—including transactional WhatsApp messages where enabled.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide (for example, email and name when you create an account; profile details; phone numbers when you or your organization choose to receive SMS or WhatsApp notifications; content and settings for Spaces, forms, chats, and modules). We also receive technical data typical of web and mobile browsers (such as IP address, device and browser type, and cookies or similar technologies used for security, preferences, and basic analytics). Space visitors may submit data through features the space owner configures (for example, forms or visitor flows); that content is processed to operate those features.
WhatsApp and Meta
When a Space or account enables WhatsApp delivery, we send transactional messages (for example, space or module notifications) through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). Meta processes phone numbers, message content required to deliver the template or message, and related delivery metadata as described in Meta’s terms and policies. We use WhatsApp for operational and transactional notices tied to your use of the product—not for unrelated third-party advertising through these channels.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide and improve the service, authenticate users, deliver in-product and email notifications you expect, send transactional WhatsApp messages when you have supplied a number and the feature is on, prevent abuse, comply with law, and respond to support requests.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share information with service providers who help us run Casa App (for example, hosting, email delivery, and when enabled, Meta for WhatsApp). They may process data only on our instructions and where required by contract. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of our users and the public.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use industry-standard safeguards designed to protect data in transit and at rest; no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can update certain account and profile information in the product where available. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise those rights where applicable.
Children
Casa App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
User data deletion
To request deletion of your Casa App account and personal data we associate with it, contact us through the Contact page with the email address on your account. We will verify your identity and process your request within a reasonable period, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must retain). If you participated in a Space without a Casa App account, contact that Space’s administrators to remove data they control, or contact us for help routing your request.
